Weaver tells us that this industrial saddle-tanker had the usual attributes: Stephenson gear, slide valves, air brakes and electric lighting. To highlight the size difference between American and British locomotives with similar duties, the caption under the photo reads, in part:"...A typical Baldwin industrial locomotive of deceptive dimensions it was almost identical in size to a GWR 5700 class pannier tank, which would be considered a large industrial locomotive in Britain."
