Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines, 1890, as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Vol 16, p. 50. Works numbers were 10922 and 10935 May 1890..

This Grand Rapids, Mich street railway purchased these two steam dummies to service the line that had just opened. Like many street railways, the NPSR operated between the downtown and an amusement area it owned in more salubrious surroundings.

After the system was electrified in the late 1890s, the 1 went to Empire Lumber and the 2 was sold to H AS Batchelor & Company.
