Class 93 (Locobase 2099)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Vol 13, p 146. Works numbers were 8261and 8266 in November 1886.

Although owned by the "Chicago & Great Western", according to the specifications page, this pair of suburban tanks operated in Wisconsin. In 1890, they were taken into the Northern Pacific and renumbered, but two years later they were redirected to the terminal railroad Chicago & Northern Pacific which became the Chicago Terminal & Transfer. At that point they fell into class B-2 and were numbered 4 & 5.

On the latter's absorption by the B & O as the Baltimore & Ohio Chicago Terminal in 1907, these were put in the R class until 5's retirement in 1913 and 4's departure in 1917.
