Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Vol 13. p 222. Works number 8526 in April 1887.

This single, relatively powerful Mogul for its time was sold to the Birmingham Southern at some point as 11. At some later date, the railroad's owner, TCI & RR renumbered it as 172.
