Data from SL&SF All Time Loco Diagrams HS Pub and SL&SF 7 - 1908 Description of All Equipment supplied in May 2005 by Allen Stanley from his extensive Rail Data Exchange. See also DeGolyer, Volume 19, p. 66. Works numbers were 14057-14059 in January 1894.

Locobase 8589 shows a class of Moguls delivered to the St Louis-San Francisco.Six of them were ordered for delivery in 1894. The order shown in Volume 19 of the Baldwin Specification Book collection at SMU's DeGolyer Library contains the note that the last three in that order were sold before delivery to the Dominion Construction Company.

Some detail changes from the Frisco engines included placing the back sand boxes under the cab, the siphon cock was placed in front of the dome, and the road numbers were quite a bit bigger , The spec also notes that the DCC put them in service on the TH&B and gives their road numbers.

The 23 was sold to the Arcade & Attica in 1917, where it ran until 1940. The 24 went to Mexico as property to Continenal Mexican Rubber Company, went in 1921 to the National of Mexico in Class D-16 as 2156A. 22 was sold in 1918 to the St Lawrence Railroad of Pyrites, NY as their #4. The StLaw was abandoned and dismantled in 1925.
