Class Agnes (Locobase 12352)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Vol 22, p. 114. Works number was 16854 in June 1899.

The Blacksher Company operated a private logging railroad system of 35 miles in Georgia.


Class David W (Locobase 12584)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Vol 24, p. 132. Works number was 20304 in April 1902.

Locobase 12352 shows the first of the Consolidations bought by this Georgia lumber company. Three years later, Blacksher returned for a slightly larger locomotive with the same power dimensions, but a bigger boiler with shorter tubes.
