Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class Lu Ceil (Locobase 12054)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Vol 18, p 115. Works number was 13056 in November 1892.

From this Kentucky shortline, the Lu Ceil was sold in 1899 across the Ohio River to the Columbus, Lima & Milwaukee, an Ohio road whose ambitions to reach Milwaukee fell several hundred miles short. In January 1906, the CL & M was merged with the Indiana, Columbus & Eastern Traction, an interurban railway.
