A month after the York Southern's #1 4-4-0 arrived came this Mogul (Baldwin class 8-26-C-157). If #1 was mixed-traffic, the road's solitary 2-6-0 was all freight.

When the YS was merged with the Baltimore & Lehigh and renamed the Maryland & Pennsylvania, the 2 came along. Boiler pressure was later reduced to 155 psi. #2 carried on for more than 30 years before being sold to the Boston Iron & Metal Company on 30 September 1927.
