Class Cromwell (Locobase 11432)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Volume 24, p. 127 and Volume 30, p. . Works numbers were 19849 in December 1901 and 29172 in December 1906.

Cromwell, soon given number 4, remained on the EBT all of its days, operating for more then 30 years before being retired in December 1934. #10 was newer but had only a short career on the EBT. In 1913, the Ohio River & Western bought the engine and ran it until the road closed in 1931; at that point, it was scrapped.
