Class 5 (Locobase 11886)

The LAT sold this engine to the Las Vegas & Tonopah in December 1905 as its #1.


Class 7 (Locobase 11887)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Vol 17 p. 101. Works number was 12204 in September 1891.

This compound was identical to the Ten-wheeler shown in Locobase in 11886. It used 9" (229 mm) piston valves, but was in fact a pretty light and small compound.

Before too long, it was converted to the 19" x 24" simple-expansion layout of its sister engine #5. And like the 5, the 7 went to the Las Vegas & Tonopah in January 1906 as their #2.
