Class S H H Clark (Locobase 2845)

Data from Alexander, Iron Horse, pl 74 and Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines, as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University, Volume 10, p. 188. Works numbers were 5569 and 5575 in April 1881.

Typical diamond-stacked, wood-burning narrow-gauge Moguls of the time. #1 was delivered as S H H Clark and #2 bore the name Sidney Dillon.

#2 was later was refurbished for the Grizzly Flats Railroad, a private railroad run by Disney animator Ward Kimball on his own property. Given the name Emma Nevada -- Emma (Wixom) Nevada was a well-known singer of the 1880s -- the 2 was found to be in sound operating condition and served the GFR until 1951.
